meeting, Chairman Hong reported to Prime Minister Nguyen the current investment
situation and future investment plans of Texhong Group in Vietnam. At present,
Texhong has two large production bases in the north and south of Vietnam, with
a total of about 1.25 million spindles, making Texhong the largest yarn
manufacturer in Vietnam. Texhong accounts for 17.8% of the total national production
of about 7 million spindles in Vietnam, and produces about 300,000 tons of yarn
annually, accounting for about 43% of Vietnam's total yarn production of
700,000 tons. It employs more than 12,000 Vietnamese employees. It is a
veritable leading yarn manufacturer.
Against the background of the global economy still under
recovery and the difficult transformation and upgrading of textile industry, in
2015, Texhong invested in an industrial park project in Quang Ninh Province,
Vietnam, covering an area of about 3,300 hectares and costing US$1 billion, focusing on the
infrastructure construction of the park and industrial investment cooperation.
Texhong has been striving to build a vertically integrated industrial platform
with global influence. At present, the park has attracted more than 5 textile
investment projects from enterprises.
In addition, Chairman Hong also reported to Prime Minister
Nguyen on the localization strategy of Texhong Group's human resources team. It
is believed that Texhong will make more contributions to local employment,
industrial structure adjustment, fiscal and taxation in Vietnam. At the same
time, Texhong will make a modest contribution to the exchange of equipment,
technology, standards and services between China and Vietnam, and promote integration
of Chinese enterprises into the global industrial value chains.
Prime Minister Nguyen emphasized that he highly recognized the
future development plan of Texhong Group, and appreciated the strategic concept
of considering the development of creative industries in Hanoi and the
surrounding areas of Ho Chi Minh. The Prime Minister paid special attention to
and was deeply impressed by the talent localization strategy introduced by
Texhong, and once again expressed that the Vietnamese government will give
strong support to Texhong Group's investment and development in Vietnam, and
also requires and expects Texhong Group to be environmentally friendly while taking
good care of the material life and spiritual life of the workers, so that the
workers can make long-term contributions to the Texhong Group with peace of
mind.
